This one day Safari/Boat cruise takes you into the oldest proclaimed park in Africa, Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve, and then onto the St Lucia Estuary South Africa’s first World Heritage Site. Follow the less traveled gravel roads into the Umfolozi Game Reserve, through the spectacular landscapes of this Big5 Reserve, late afternoon we travel on boat on the St Lucia Estuary. On this once-in-a-lifetime, experience extraordinary views  both of the bush and the estuary, and experience the sunrise & sunset Africa.

    Day 1 — Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve, Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, St Lucia / South Africa

    Early departure 5:00am board our 4*4 open game drive vehicle as we travel to the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve. Arrival at the Umfolozi Game Reserve gate (Nylazi gate) we set out on a safari in search of the big5. Keep your eye out for the African Wild Dog of the region, as well as bushbuck, duiker, buffalo, giraffe, rare birds, Cheetah and if we’re lucky, all of the Big5.
    Breakfast in the bush and by mid day we travel to sT Lucia, Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. Lunch at one of the many restuarants, travel to a curio shop as this afternoon is spent aboard a boat on the estuary. This wildlife spectacular with Hippo’s, Nile Crocodiles and a wide variety of birds. Watch the African sun set.
